Roman Catholic Diocese of Ebebiyin : ウィキペディア英語版 | Roman Catholic Diocese of Ebebiyin The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ebebiyin ((ラテン語:Ebebiyinen(sis))) is a diocese located in the city of Ebebiyin in the Ecclesiastical province of Malabo in Equatorial Guinea. It has an area of 12,000 square miles, a total population of 204,000, a Catholic population of 164,000, 33 priests, and 89 religious. On Saturday, February 19, 2011, Vatican Information Service (VIS) stated that Pope Benedict XVI finally appointed the Reverend Father Juan Nsue Edjang Maye, until then pastor of the parishes of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Our Lady of Help on the island of Bioko, Equatorial Guinea, as the new Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ebebiyin in Equatorial Guinea. The Bishop-elect was born in Mikomeseng-Kie Ntem, Equatorial Guinea, in 1957, and was ordained a priest in 1995. Until his appointment as Bishop-elect, a former Bishop, Juan Matogo Oyana, C.M.F., had been serving as Apostolic Administrator since the end of the last Bishop's period in office four and a half years ago in summer 2006. ==History==
